'Sup y'all! This week, we gonna peep inside the dope pad of your favorite French experimental filmmaker, Michel Gondry! (one-link super-deluxe flash video post. pardonnez-moi.)
And that's what Robin Williams is like without coke and after spending two months in Paris.

Based on his films and videos I always imagined he had a very annoying personality. Wow, does he ever.
He reminds me of the few customers encountered in retail who become "regulars" who just will not go away. (As opposed to the regulars who you wish would hang out longer.)

Gondry kicks ass. He can solve a Rubik's Cube with his feet!

Fake as in that's not Gondry? Nope, didn't realize it. Only seen "him" once before and he looks vaguely like this guy if I remember correctly.

Ah, clicking mullingitover's link reveals the real Gondry (presumably).
Congrats takingthepissGondry! Ya had me fooled. (But I still imagine he's just like that.)

That's not my Michel! How dare you make my dreams soar only to have them crash, into my broken heart, which is now aflame.

I highly recommend this dvd of Gondry's work, which includes his music videos. I get that there are people that just wont like his work, but I love it.

Wow. I came here to comment that doing a parody of Cribs was about the most unimaginative and hackneyed comedy sketch that I could possibly conceive of someone doing, but then it turns out that somebody actually thought it was real! That's pretty incredible. So I guess not.

Well I guess you've made it if you're now the subject of a spoof by some frat guys.
(Although there were some pretty good details there. "Once I found a newsticker buried in the garden." Name that Bjork video!)

It's a damn shame that SuperDeluxe / Turner can't make this work in Firefox. Ta-ta!

ChasFile, I think it's more a reflection on my dislike for allthingsGondry that I thought it was legit. You coulda told me it was any number of people I can't stand (Joel Schumacher shows off his house!) and my idiotic prejudgement woulda said, "Yup, that's him in all his glory. What a maroon!"

fungible,
not to rain on your parade of belittlement-- but these guys are actually the Olde English comedy troupe (who are all graduates from Bard College) and have been featured here before, specifically in the case of that commercial with the "hand" guns.
