BBC News Condom Stock Photos

Are the condoms in the photograph female condoms or just vibrating ones? Is this factory being given funding by the U.S.? This is not the first time that BBC News has reused stock condom photos.
This post was deleted for the following reason: Stock photography being used for its intended purpose does not a worthwhile post make. -- cortex
It's just lazy web editing. MUST.HAVE.ART.
Your gf's powerful observation skills aside, I'm not sure this is quite substantial enough for a Mefi post.

Eh, not really a big deal. That's what stock photography is for. And I don't think bbc claimed anything about what the picture of the condom plant worker was actually supposed to show.

If I had a gf and she knew this much about condoms, I'd worry about more than the BBC.

You'd think they'd wait at least a week before reusing a stock photo.
Not the BBC. They know that their readers relish their abuse of stock photography. Years ago NTK used to point it out regularly, and eventually Headless Zombie Bunny started following it even closer, but unfortunately couldn't keep it going.
It's very much not news that the BBC reuses stock photos to ensure a photo on every article.

Well good on the congress for trying to rescend Regan's awful Mexico City rule, denying health care since 1984. Clinton lifted it and it was W's first act, reinstalling it.
