Not your average mobile home. For the filthy rich among the MeFi crowd. Truly awe inspiring size... Residents will certainly need city guides. But will competition offer more affordable pricing?

Notice how they neglect to say, "unsinkable." History does teach us lessons :>

Doesn't it need some visible gunnery to ward off pirates?

It's like the premise of a James Bond flick - I'm sure this thing can do a quick "eskimo-roll" and turn into an armed-to-the-teeth battlewagon bent on world domination. [grin]

Yep. This just screams, "Titanic."

Eskimo roll indeed. Then you'd have a thousand residents with caviar in their exquisitely styled hairdos and champagne stains on the ceiling.

That's not to mention all of the Fifis (aka yappy dogs), which would invariably need medical attention.

Oh the horror!

Notice the lack of sun anywhere except on the unusable airport strip and some parts of the exterior? Theoretically, if the ship were going in a certain direction you would have no direct sun into your $11 million ocean view residence. For $11 million, I want sunshine everywhere including coming up from the toilet...

Can you imagine how hot it would be on the top floor compared to the bottom? Sure everyone's got A/C and heat, but I would be pissed if I had to pay any utility bills and I loved up top.

That's poor design if you ask me...

Sorry for my third post in ten minutes, but from the "Common Misperceptions" section:

"Outside of utility bills, the total cost to support a unit is included in the monthly maintenance fee."

So that means on top of the $3-4K you spend on the maint fee, you also must pay the utility bill. See above comment on uneven sun/heat distribution.

I agree, in loo of flushing 11 Million, you get the sun where the moon don't shine...that's livin'

they might be using that clever fiber optics trick that pipes sunlight down into otherwise enclosed rooms. it's supposed to be a quite pleasant way for lighting rooms without windows.
