That was quite funny.

Behind the curve. But the letter from The Pope, signed "The Pope", was kinda funny.

I love Louis CK, but his stand up(NSFW) is much better than his film.

That Catholic Church video was terrific. I only knew Louis CK as a comedian; I didn't know he did documentaries, as well.

I love how he has a Powerbook/Macbook behind him sitting in Target Disk mode...

The one where he learns about magical Mormon underpants is better.

I'm a big fan of Louis CK - Lucky Louie is a lot of fun - but this film seemed like he was harvesting the low-hanging fruit. The whole "catholic priests like to molest boys" bit has been done and overdone by so many comedians that it is becoming a new "What is the deal with airline peanuts? They sure are hard to open!" stand-up cliche.
I have to agree with tkchrist, though. The letter signed "The Pope" was great.

From louisck.com:
"I had a big on-air throwdown with Catholic league president Bill Donahue on Opie and Anthony this morning. Listen to it here.."
Perhaps the inspiration for this video?

Louis CK is a much, much better comedian than this video gives him credit for. He's been doing standup for a long, long time [quicktime, video from 20 YEARS ago. Starts a little slow bet gets real good]. Some of his more risque (NSFW) standup is pretty funny.
The film where he badmouths the Catholic church? Not so funny. His routine where he badmouths Jesus? Hilarious
You should view all of his videos. This is an expert standup comedian. It's something of a shame that he's never been as recognized as other, lesser standups (I'm looking at you Mencia and Cook) and that he's trying to pay the bills doing sanitized sitcoms which really don't work as well with his twisted and totally profane material.
