Bloody hell. I was really excited by the idea of being able to print out the sudoku generator itself—that sounded like a hell of a hack.

cortex: you may not be able to print out a Sudoku generator, but here's a paper clock you can buy.

Neat! Especially the rulers, honestly, because often I find myself in need of a measuring implement and turns out, nobody in an office ever has a ruler.

This is a terrific reference, thanks!

Couldn't you create a sudoku generator in postscript or something? That prints out a random sudoku game every time you send it to the printer . . .

Awesome, my office needs a protractor but I never think to buy one.

Also, my mom needs some way of getting her recipes off the computer. This "printing" sounds like the perfect answer!

I carry a portable printer for just such emergencies.

Oh, there's a maze one on here....except it isn't really "printable". I mean, it IS, but you'd get the entire page every time. I want just the maze.

I love all the printable organisers/faux pdas. I mean seriously. I can't believe I've never searched for those things before.

I, too, was expecting some sort of insane papercraft Sudoku generator as well, or maybe a complex system of transparencies and overlapping symbols. Color me disappointed.

The windsurfer wifi antenna is great; I have been using one for about three years now.

Some of these are actually quite handy. Thanks!

Google Calendar is a better option for printing calendars. Plus you can add public Holiday Calendar to your calendar.

Plus I'm only adding a comment so I can refer back to this later...

Ha! More stuff for my hipster PDA.

(Which I made as a joke, but has become insanely useful)

Does that Windsurfer Wifi Antenna actually work? I might try that!
posted by gergtreble at 6:00 PM on September 13, 2007

Yeah they work but from what I read the gains are very maginal and probably not worth the extra ugly. Pony up for a cantenna if you want real gains. Apply some paint to it and it looks sharp too.

According to this guy, a crappy 4inch can is where its at. He gets 2 miles from one can. Windsurfer gains are something like 10% which is nothing compared to an old can of beans and a connector.
