Gregory Vershbow's photography

Gregory Vershbow's photography. Oddly enough, a photographer's online gallery that doesn't break your brain to navigate does, in fact, exist.

His focus on books and their homes makes me want to print these off and annotate my collected Borges. Anyway, enjoy!

Oddly enough, I'm completely unable to navigate his gallery. And I only clicked because you called out the nice navigation. Bummer. (Firefox on Linux)

I take it back, I can see the main gallery now. But for some reason Recent Photography only gives me one zoomable photo of frogs.

Maybe "recent photograph" would be a better title. Main gallery is where it's at.

Not sure I get what the "doesn't break your brain to navigate" refers to? The nav isn't consistent (not on the Main Gallery page, at least) and the zoom feature doesn't work for me (Firefox on WinXP).

doesn't break your brain to navigate

heh, that's funny. Before I looked at the comments I checked the site. and I like the photography. But I was struck with the fact that for a photographer's website, it's quite free of a "unique" navigational paradigm.

I like the images, especially the long exposures.

This is exceptionally poor navigation. Show your work, not your take on the better mousetrap.

All these professional still photo galleries - why do they use Flash?

Did Matt take their IMG tags too?

Love the photography, disagree on the navigation in the "series" section, at least. Forcing me to click to *stop* the disappearance of an image I'm enjoying is dumb. I'll enjoy your series at *my* pace, thank you.

But this isn't one of them.

I don't care if the navigation is good or not. I love the photos.

I will dissent. In my opinion, the photography is mediocre. The nav isn't much to write home about, either. Sorry I couldn't be more positive...

Meh, I've seen better on Flickr, and Flickr's easier to navigate.
