The most pretentious crackhead freakazoid no-talent poseur that I personally know is still getting free drinks from people impressed that he performed with Sonic Youth. My cat could perform with Sonic Youth if she owned better sunglasses.

No, it's true, I know some guys who toured with Sonic Youth as well - they favor the weird and hip in their opening acts.

FYI there's a pretty long history of this sort of thing. Phil Minton is a well-known example, but there are many others working in improvised non-verbal singing (Liz Tonne, Ami Yoshida, Jaap Blonk...).

She needs lessons and that piano needs a tune. Or maybe not. Notice how she how she winces when she (almost) gets a chord progression right. The horror.

Autodidact has it: pretentious shittyness - with the emphasis on pretetious shittyness.

Yeah, she's pretty bad. Not my kind of thing, I'll admit, but even in that area she's annoying beyond the call of duty.
