I saw Gamma Ray last spring, and Kai Hansen is still a grinning, crazy little kid on stage loving every minute of what he's doing. Wish to god I could be at PeCsa in November to see Kai and Weiki together again.

Here's a good halloween-y tune from Gamma Ray - never mind the stupid anime video.

Walls of Jericho is the only album I can still listen to, even Keeper Part I's cheese factor is just too high.

I have to admit I have to skip over Future World, but other than that, I like Keeper I just fine. Part II is their finest hour. But there are a lot of fine moments past there, too, either with Kiske or without. I mean, look. Steel Tormentor. If there's any more cheesy topic than "fast cars" then... whatever. There just isn't. It's stupid. But it doesn't matter, because when Deris says "faster, much faster" and the triplets start flyin' - du-ku-du du-ku-du du-ku-du du-ku-du du-ku-du - it puts a big grin on my face and I can't fuckin' help it.

Wow that was lke listening to Portuguese.

(To an English speaker all of the spunds are recognizable and common. So, it takes a minute to figure out that it's not actually Englsh. Portuguese is like that for Spanish speakers.)
