From what I gathered, the defendants can only submit "not guilty" pleas via email--which is probably 95% of the time. They'll have to be present to plead guilty. Still, technology in the courtroom is something that needs to be watched. Abuses become all too easy with the right tools.

Yeah, because email is inherently secure, and certainly not transmitted in cleartext right... Sounds like a post from RISKS.
