I was really really hoping this had something to do with David Bowie in tight pants.

That is hard. The trick is to take your time and only push one button at a time.

Spec80, sorry but not that Labyrinth.

I was totally hoping for some Labyrinth the movie action too. But the game itself was quite fun. Thanks for sharing.

The BRIO labyrinth game is what I was referring to when I said labyrinth 2.0. Apologies, I'd have constructed a better FPP (or not posted at all) if my blood sugar were a little closer to normal.

I liked the game too.

But not as much as I liked the song from Labyrinth at about 3:30 of this link, which I thought was the bestest song when that movie came out. (I think Danny John-Jules, Cat from Red Dwarf, is one of the voices.)

But I digress. I got stuck on the level with the intermittently spinning wheel in the middle--anyone have any tips?

Related: the gravity Maze game. Yeah, I could have done a FPP, but this one is similar enough.

Adm. Haddock: that one got me for awhile, but I just kept playing with it till I hit the initial velocity right, and then it pretty much just went around smoothly in one go, no back-and-forth.
The level after is annoying because it takes a long time, and the hardest bit is at the very end, so you keep re-doing.

@agentofselection wait till you get to level 23... the horror!

And not this spin the black circle, either, I'm afraid.

Hmm, where are the level numbers?

Thank you for not posting to during the day. Now I don't have to decide between working and beating the next level.

got stuck on 19 (with the blue, one-way walls and those 5 flamethrowers near the end of the maze). fun stuff.

I played this for a while but I thought the difficulty was misjudged. You become too conscious that it is going to take a lot of practice to get through each level, which makes the opportunity cost too high for me, since the gameplay itself is not that rewarding. If the actual experience of playing the game was more fun, you could get away with the difficulty.

I guess what I'm saying is that it probably works for masochists.

(the fact that the guy puts a disclaimer at the front about the difficulty is a bit of a give-away... I think it would be better if there were a bunch of easier levels at the front and the difficulty ramped up a bit more slowly).

I also found the intermittent flames frustrating because the latency of the game's physics response means they're extremely hard to time accurately.

(but on the other hand, big kudos for making a playable, skilful, game with only a one-dimensional control system -- left arrow or right arrow)

Because there just wasn't enough frustration in my life. Thanks!

(It's actually a pretty fun challenge)

A rare level-based flash game that is both challenging and playable to the finish. The last level takes a certain finesse, to be sure.

i'm up to level 20, you cunt >:|
god dammit how many levels are there!

i like the music though. anyone else notice there's a skeleton inside the ball when you get set on fire? just what exactly is going on here?!

The vagina dentata was tough. I got it by letting it drop directly from the very end of that skinny platform at the start, just as it starts to wrap to the other side. The biggest problem is keeping it from dropping too far down. When I put it on the other side of the skinny platform, on the flat part, I couldn't get it to work.

Still, it was a crapshoot at best.

I got through the vagina dentata (a sentence I never thought I would say), and beyond, but the huge spiral level is kicking my ass. I can get all the way to the very last tiny tiny square that turns into the portal and then BAM! I hit the teeth.

Argh, any tips for last flamethrower near one way wall on level 19?

"Sorry, no game found for link: spin-the-blac-circle."

Did they pull the game for some reason? Did it have music in it without the rights?

Corrected link -- looks like they fixed the typo in the URL.
