Or, you know, you could have flagged the other post.

Besides, this is totally breaking the 8th commandment with a side order of 10.

You violated the first rule of Christianity, which is not to talk about Christianity.

Hey, at least you spelled mindfulness right.

mattjesstex is not going to like this stunt, though.

I'd say something critical, but the Buddha directs one to refrain from hurtful speech.

I'm christian and I don't think this is a good post. It's like a Jew linking to the five books of the Torah. It's just tenets of a religion, not really "the best of the web."

Balrog, I'm pretty familiar with Christianity, and these are some shitty-ass links. Just take the "Orthodox Christianity" link. It's all in what, Comic Sans? And the listing is not made for someone who knows Christianity. You don't specify whether this is Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, just look at the Wikipedia link for Orthodox Christianity to get an idea of the depth of this religion that you're missing because of your stupid posing.

There is a lot of room for a rich discussion of Christianity and the discussion of its precepts, historical background, differences between denominations, the history of those differences, all of that. It has had such a tremendous influence on Western culture in every way possible. By throwing up your couple of shallow, hastily-Googled links in some failed attempt at a response to the Buddhism post, you do all Christians, of every denomination, a serious disservice.

On the other hand, Jesus commands one to throw the first stone.

I only skimmed that part, but I'm pretty sure that was the gist of it.
