"Half liter was the most popular and the only size available."
That's beautiful.

What with the screw-driven tractor thing and the lemonade labels, it's probably time to close the trifecta with a FPP about the ekranoplans (as was brought up in the tractor post).

"Do not drink carbonated drinks. The CO2 gas that is dissolved in the water also kills all the bacterial flora in your stomach."
Also, don't eat carrots because they cause your spleen to to become misshapen. And drinking milk is very bad, since it's made of puss. Never, ever, eat chicken, for obvious reasons.

I want to try that tarragon soda pretty badly. I bet it kicks Cel-Ray's ass.

Printing plants were centralized. There were two plants in Leningrad which were printing labels for 1/4 of the whole country.
Great find, thanks.

I've had some tarragon soda that was imported from Ukraine. I liked it. It had a spicy anise flavor (similar to black licorice) and was a dark green color. Supposedly it used to be popular with kids because it turned your tongue green, but that didn't happen to me.

"Lemonade" tastes very little like what we Americans know as lemonade.
And at least here in Armenia, these lemonade bottles are still being produced.
