I love 80's retro. Between the smoking travesty of "Joe Dirt" and "The Artist" changing his name back to Prince and going on a greatest hits tour, I thought we couldn't revisit the past much more...

Then, for some odd reason, I start to wonder why arms for hostages sounds vaguely familiar.

My my, that's quite a stretch you've made there, even by the usual standards of Bush-hating. What, no links to pictures of Nixon drinking cocktails with Kissinger while John McCain was being tortured in Vietnam?

Yes, folks, we're actually travelling back in time to the 80's!!! Bush wants to bring back the cold war!!! We're not progressing as a nation!

Spare me the Maureen-Dowd-style bs.

Well, that explains the new Go-Gos album, don't you think?

It's a cheap laugh, but seeing Alf in this picture makes me laugh everytime.

Lemme find the McCain photo. I think it was bourbon though.

Ain't it a happy coincidence that the Aegis story starts popping up as "a really bad idea" almost immediately after the pilots come home. Nope, nothing going on there. C'mon. A story like that isn't mere coincidence.

That's not to say Clinton wouldn't have done the exact same thing, and backed out of the sale when it would be in his best interest to do so. He just would have had a bit more finesse doing it.

While we're on the topic of '80s retro, I saw The Bangles on a repeat of "Gilmore Girls" earlier this evening.

Next week on "Will & Grace"--guest star Boy George! ;)
