Chronotron is a Flash game in the same vein as the earlier Cursor*10, which was deliberately triple-posted. (Sadly, the mods didn't see the humor value....) This is a very clever game mechanic, in which you cooperate with yourself to try to solve puzzles. Lots of fun. (I also found it slightly depressing to realize just how predictable I am.) [via]

Ok. That concept is about the most fantastic thing ever.

I loved the causality violation mechanic the first time I saw it, in All Things Devours.

Timebot and Cursor*10 have pretty good puzzle design. Chronotron really adds a lot by supporting basic platfomer physics, but it's disappointing that some levels can be completed without using time travel at all, or trivialized by time traveling dozens of times more than necessary.

I'm excited to see this kind of thing in upcoming mainstream games like Braid and The Misadventures of P. B. Winterbottom.

the worst part is after you're done playing the game and you try to move on with your life. But now you're trying to cooperate with your time traveling self in real life. That's messed up.

As I was playing, it updated my facebook. How did it do that? How did it know what my account was? Cookies? WUH?

Argh! I was going to post this today. Very awesome concept. They should have a limited loop time on each level to make it even more challenging.

That's incredibly cool. How many levels are there?

If you get to the end, there are bonus levels, and if you click around the end screen some, there are some deleted scene type levels too. Very cool.

Here is my personal challenge for that game.
Try to make your "first" self complete the level, using the following selfs to do whatever needs done to get your first self through.

I think I might be coming back to that game more than once

Ack. After playing this game, I'm full of anxiety about whether or not i can exit my office at the split second my ride is going to show up.
