Like a cross between Nanaca Crash and Red Bull Flight Lab, but with hedgehogs...in space.

I really enjoyed this game, despite getting an good early launch being heavily dependent on luck.

even better than the game is the conversation being held by racist 7th graders on the right sidebar...classy stuff there...

Just got a score of 10119.51m in Nanaca Crash. I think I've reached the peak of my flash gaming abilities.

Fun, but the ending is kind of a downer. :(

This is a pretty fun game. I found it the other night on onemorelevel.com. As the game progressed, I found it more fun to see how much I could make than to actually launch into space.

Mission completed in 11 days. I love simple games like this.

The ending is a downer? I thought it was awesome.

Ending *is* awesome. So's in-flight music... What is that? Who is that?

Clearly it's Sleater-Kinney.

Very cute, and as a former hedgehog owner, I liked the ending.

15 days, unfortunately.

Any strategy tips, kids?

Also, what is it like owning a hedgehog? Been thinking of getting one.

I was going to post this, but I was too busy playing.

Strategy tips - upgrade just one side-firing rocket. Say, go left. Launch at about 45 degrees to the left, and then always go as fast as possible to the left. Statistically you'll hit more platforms and coins because you're covering much more horizontal distance per dropped distance. Use your boosts and parachutes wisely, aim for flights over 100,000 feet horizontally. Don't worry about altitude for now.

Save your fuel, too, you don't need to use it much in the air. When you land, keep rocketing to the left. You might pick up more coins or hit a launch bar. And the longer your "flight" the more money you make anyway.

I believe there are less friendly, more ornery critters on the earth, but I've never had the pleasure of owning one. They hiss, spit, bite, and when they really want to be left alone, they wrap themselves backward around your finger, pushing the spines inward into a kind of spiny hedgehog maiden. In short, they get mediaeval on your ass.

That being said, they're terribly cute. I'm thinking of getting another one.

Hehe. This is terribly addictive. I've managed it in 14 days but I have to say in my case it sure seems to depend a lot on luck.

Ok, 8 days is my best. Now I'm going to bed!

That beatific smile that's always on the hedgehog's face cracks me up.

I've run across several games like this on the web. The polar bear swinging penguins. Throwing a cat at a junk yard of pain. Monkey ball. I expected to play this a couple times and then go 'meh' but while it never seemed quite challenging, it was fun to tinker with, and the endgame was surprisingly amusing. "Well now you know." Took me twenty-five days, and was surprised when I got to the end to find there was one. Usually these kinda games just go on forever, or if there IS an endgame to something like Nananca Crash? I never see it. I get bored before I do.

And yeah, I agree with WalterMitty on the beatific smile on the hedgehog, that it's completely satisfied doing its part for science in an almost zen way, icing on the cake for me.

I did it in 5 days, but i've been playing this on kongregate for about a week...there is a mute all button for the chat that looks like a speech bubble with an x in it.

Well, I'm slow -- it took me 20 days on my first try. Fun game, though.
