isn't that incidental music from Twin Peaks?

boo: it sounds like the typical zombie movie score to these ears. Like the stuff Goblin did for Zombie, and the ambient low-key synths in the (Insert time of day) of the Dead movies.

Awesome video, although I don't see how something called Chainsaw Maid could be anything but disgusting (in a good way).

Yeah, I'm always shocked when 'zombie' and 'chainsaw' isn't automatically safe for kids.

Also hilarious, btw.

later on, it is the typical zombie score. But before the zombies enter, and it's just the gentleman and the maid, we hear a bit of Audrey's dance.

When she literally puked her guts up, I laughed.

Is that so wrong?

That was awsome.

Floydd, if that's wrong, I don't want to be right.

Come on, maid. Dude got bit. It's only a matter of time before you need to chainsaw him too; you should know that.

That was brilliant, especially the soundtrack. Must have been great fun to make too.

Wow I miss Twin Peaks.

Wow I miss Twin Peaks.

Yeah, when I watched boo_radley's link I had this incredible sense of longing. And I just watched the entire series no more than 3 months ago.

That was really nicely done.

What is the ratio of time spent creating something like that to the finished product? Is that the result of a couple of afternoons of clay shaping, plus some editing time, or is that the product of months of 24/7 work by a team of dozens?

That was great. I loved when the guy gave the first zombie an uncertain smile.

Took me back a few to Doom.

There was also a lift from Terminator 2 there.

God, I loved Doom! I can't believe how crappy it looks now, and how much I still want to play it! I also can't believe I remembered exactly where in the level that video was - enough to know that the dude playing was a dumbass.

FYI: on many occasions while watching this video, I looked just like the guy did at 1:52.

The same guy has made a lot of claymation horror stuff. This is pretty decent, although quite derivative of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, until you get to the scary vagina dentata-mouthed goat thing at the end, which is just plain freaky.

Get jdoom or one of the other sourceports with highres textures and sprites, and it's still pretty awesome today, with a totally retro feel but nice lighting and old school but updated graphics.

I've been wanting to say how much I liked these claymations, but didn't really know how to say it until I watched Bloody Date: Oh man, that goat thing at the end made me jump. I just watched it again and it still tickled the flight/fight response in my little brain.
