"These are the incredible pictures which show the first ever leopard attack on a crocodile caught on film."
Fixed that for them.

Don't forget this one: Hippo rescues impala from croc and attempts mouth to mouth (for reals!)

No, zardoz. I've been watching everything for a very long time and I can assure you that this is the first ever leopard attack on a crocodile.

As a fellow mammal, I approve of the efforts of my comrades against the greater reptile foe, and am saddened at the loss of our ally the impala.

Oh crap! My apologies.
"Let it be known henceforth that the hippo is actually the most dangerous animal in all of Africa, verily, even greater than the so called "King of the Jungle", that big pussycat himself, the Lion."
Please let that retroactively apply to my previous statement and accept my most sincere apologies.

The successful male lion is indeed worthy of the title King: he sleeps, eats, lays around, and gets laid, while others do all the work and endure all the hardship.

I don't see the video. In case I'm not missing the obvious as I usually do, here's the link on Youtube (really just a fast slide show, but it puts it all together).

Why do I suspect that this only took place due to habitat disruption and the leopard having difficulty finding enough of its traditional prey.

The video seems to be cattle beating up lions. The stills come from a different event. (both are spiffy)

Great pix, Effigy2000 - thanks.
The crocs in Kruger are coming under hard times lately, more than 50 have been found dead - it's a big mystery. But toxins, not leopards, are suspected.

Show me a video with a senior citizen choking the bejezus out of a croc and I'll be really shocked. Why, heck...I'd even settle for a member of Congress.

Boo. I'm so tired of the trend of this kind of crap. The video isn't the same event as the photos. Damn tabloids. The internet sucking more and more - fakes, lies and misleading "facts".

I want to see a thousand tarantulas against a great white shark vs. a platoon of Grace Jones cyborgs battling a Raven Light 'Mech. Now that would really be something. Failing that, here's Rick Astley singing "Never Gonna Give You Up".

I saw a feral kitten attack and eat a little lizard in Greece once. Pretty much the same drill, just not to scale.

You know what I'm amazed by? That the Buffalo returned en masse and rescued their young (still alive) from the lions at the end of the video. Totally nuts.
