Totem Destroyer... a puzzle game where you strategically remove blocks in order to lower a golden idol closer to the ground. Get it within 3 squares from the bottom, but not touching it, and you move on to the next level. (via)

Curse you, Dave Faris. I'm stuck on level 24. I don't think there's a height requirement though, you just have to break the required number of blocks without breaking the idol by having it hit the ground. Fun, though.

Yeah played it a few days back, fairly fun.

has Hedgehog Launch made it to MiFi yet?

I don't like the chaos in this game at all.

Actually I found you had to destroy a predetermined number of the blocks to move on to the next level (the number of which is listed on the RHS of the screen), regardless of their relation to the idol. Hint: get the damned thing into a safe stable spot, then bombs away!

The idol can fall pretty far without being destroyed as long as it lands on a green or black block, btw.

I have yet to try this totem dealie, but I couldn't resist trying this hedgehog launching before sleeping. BAM. Second try, hedgehog is in orbit in 8 days. Woo! Now to bed.

What chaos lumensimus? The physics are predictable and repeat. The only levels that seem chaotic are the ones where the tower is swaying from the beginning. Those you just have to time.

Couldn't find a way of turning off the music, which was a shame, as I was quite enjoying the game until my head assploded!

you can turn off the music by clicking on the speaker symbol in the lower left corner.

I enjoyed playing it too, until I won and it ended. :p

I particularly like the endless lives; nothing's more tiresome than a puzzle game that makes you redo.

benzo8 - that's what the Settings menu is for at the main menu ;)

I'm stuck on level 24.
r-really? 24? I'm pretty sure I just solved that one by clicking on each green block in order from the top down, then the tan block.

OK, I just finished. It was fun, but sort of too easy. Some of the individual levels were tricky, but it seemed like all of them could be solved by just fucking around a bit until you manage to get the totem to land on the right block—not a lot of reasoning going on beyond "Well, I guess this time I'll try clicking the blocks in this order." That said, I liked it because I'm terrible at hard games.

Oh god that hedgehog launching game is amazing.

If you like this, and you have a Wii, don't miss Boom Blox.

Not gonna try it, but if I ever start a death metal band it will be called Totem Desrtroyer.

Hey, I made it all the way through. Fun, if not a bit too easy. I mean, if I can make it all the way to the end then it's prolly a bit on the easy side. But fun!

This is awesome. But then I have a certain weakness for games of which the title runs counter to the objective.

And the 'achievements' are hilarious.

Stll can't find a speaker icon, but the settings worked - thanks CPH!

And just completed it... 24 was all about getting the sway right, but 25 seemed pretty much like luck - keep things balanced as best as possible and hope you landed on a black block!

Thanks for the link Dave Faris - whiled away a half hour or so!

edgeways, I command you to FPP that, for it is the epitome of awesomeness.

It is awesome, but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the hedgehog game in an FPP… yep.

Second the recommendation for BoomBlox on the Wii. Its like this only many times more fun.

In the Hedgehog game I've made to orbit in 4 days, now whenever I play I intentionally not make it to orbit until I'm bored, as I enjoy the other part of the game

"It's on random."

Took a couple of tries to get 24 right with the sway, but only once to finish 25.

Quick fun.

I was just gonna say what The Bellman said, seriously. I got Boom Blox before we moved, and played with it a bit. Need to unpack it again and have some block poppin' fun.

Thanks! I enjoyed that. It did keep slowing down to a crawl, and I would have to close the browser and pick up again later - which might have had to do with adblock plus. By the time I thought about disabling adblock, it turned out I was on the last level anyway.
