These guys have something really wonderful going with their old/new layering -- much better than, say, Moby's appropriations of LDPs (long-dead performers). But they need to prune the electronica. Why should I have to wade through all that trippy self indulgence to get to the good stuff? And when it is good, as in "Satisfied" and "Morning Train," it's really good. (As digaman says, all is revealed in the v link).

The Of My Native Land album kicks about twenty kinds of ass. I've only heard the freebie tracks so far off Long Gone, but thanks for reminding me I really need to remedy that.

Now listen to Ramblin Man and Pullin the Skiff off Of My Native Land right now, or so help me I will come over there, and I will punch you! I will punch you in the face!
