I highly doubt all those rap references to "head" were talking about the head pictured.

But isn't that booty perhaps a bit too... too... Caucasian?

Just sayin'.

you forgot the "DUH" tag on this post.

What's this -- donkeys appearing in 0.62% of gospel songs?

flapjax at midnite writes "Jesus rode on one once, as I recall."

A Tyrannosaurus rex, you mean.

That map of desire thing by size is pretty interesting, and definitely backs up common knowledge about the necessity of foreplay for women. The "be touched" map indicates dudes pretty much just want their Mr. Johnson attended to, while women have a wider variety of places they enjoy being caressed.

I like big hands and I cannot lie?

Also: on the map of desire, apparently we are not only a predominantly right-handed species, but also right-breasted and right-assed. Huh.

A quarter (23.64%) of all hip-hop songs sampled include the word 'ass'? A quarter of all body-part words mentioned in a sampled hip-hop song are the word 'ass'?

I don't think it means they're talking about ass.
I'm a grown-ass man I ain't calling nobody delicious.

Damn, they don't include dancehall. I was looking forward to investigating pum pum/batty ratios.

From the locations by size link - Select size of desire, woman, front. Now alternate between touch and be touched.

Seems like people like to touch the right boob much more than women like their right boob to be touched. No such disparity on the left boob.

Where's the LOLBUTTS tag?

Useless, as it doesn't seem to distinguish between just regular thighs and Americanthighs, nor does it include her motor.

I refuse to believe that "booty" appeared in only 0.38% of surveyed R&B songs because, in my experience, most R&B songs are actually called "Feelin' On Yo' Booty."

I don't know whether it counts as a mondegreen or not, but it was years before I realized that Madonna wasn't actually singing:

"Like a Virgin,
Touched on the crotch for the very first time,
Like a Vir-hir-hi-her-gin,
I feel your hard meat,
Next to mine..."

Can we get one of these for MeMusic? We'd just need a giant dick and a giant fist.

Wow, more beautiful information and dada data . I love Fridays on (m)f.

toenail is in 0.09% of songs (all genres).

Well, that's good to know.

Their methodology doesn't indicate how they handled metaphorical usage of body terms.
I mean, how many countable terms are there in:
You can say 'I pricked my finger',
but you can't say 'I fingered my prick'.
(tip of the topknot to the late George Carlin)
.
.
.
Oh, nevermind, here it is:

Note: Some body words have multiple meanings. For example, the word “back” tends to be used more as an adverb and adjective than as a body part. In cases like this, we do not treat the term as a body part; it shows up on the rebus as a gray dot.

I guess it makes sense that Gospel is the least diverse in terms of number of body parts mentioned, what with it being about the Spirit and all. Interesting, though, that Folk is second most-diverse after Rap.

I want titles damnit! If I click on a toenail icon I want a pop up list of toenail mentioning songs. They gave us hypertext as if it made up for the lack of flying cars, and now they're not even bothering.
