Hooray for Super Karl (and the Scooby Doo gang!).

One question... who is Ken Stubbs? The name rings a bell.

Ken Stubbs is the Chairman of the Names Council of the DNSO, and CORE.

BTW...I love the Working Group scene:

"You're an idiot and a bad one at that! Why do they let riff-raff like you participate in groups like this? You are part of the unwashed masses..."

:-)))

Man, that is like one of the worst Flash animations I have ever seen.

Gee, even ALL YOUR BASE had better animation.

poor animation, informative message.

webchick's ken stubbs link:

"Of the 7 [TLD's] chosen, 3 of them, consisting of .Info, .Aero and .Museum, can be directly linked to Ken Stubbs, Chairman of the Names Council of the DNSO, and CORE."

he responds on the same page:

"I have stated publicly on numerous occasions that the names council had no input or influence on the board's decision and was not consulted in any way during the TLD proposal evaluation process."

stubbs also mentions that "CORE is an organization with approximately 70 members from 23 countries," and the TLD's "directly linked" to stubbs are actually linked to CORE members who proposed the domains, which are indirectly linked to stubbs who is a chairman of CORE.

and the TLD's "directly linked" to stubbs are actually linked to CORE members who proposed the domains, which are indirectly linked to stubbs who is a chairman of CORE.

that's not meant to be an extension of his quote, just my inference after reading the page.
