Z-Rox is a flash game based on determining what object is being shown in one dimension. Answers can be anything, letters, numbers, shapes, symbols, objects. All answers are in English, type the answers when you know what you're seeing. This game is hard, have fun!

I guess I was kinda taking the second and third dimensions for granted today.

Cool. Like an eye test for Flatlanders.

Well, Flatlanders that are being visited by incomprehensible beings from another dimension.

The letter 'k' was just picked up by a 3D apple and hurled into another dimension.

FYI, the answer to number 17 is not "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT?"

Also, "trapazoid" is not the correct spelling.

beaucoupkevin, rot13 this if you want to know the answer:

Nafjre gb chmmyr yriry friragrra vf gur ahzreny bar.

Related, sort-of, but with one more dimension.

Whoa, I was thinking about submitting this. I'm on level 60, the solution of which is not BODACIOUS TA-TAS.
posted by DU at 6:54 PM on September 21, 2008

Oh, you can TYPE "square". That helps.

It would also be better if you could see the solution after you solve it, just to confirm you were right.

Oh hooray, I wasn't irritated enough already.

Now very stuck on 63.

I got 63, but I still don't really get it. It's very stylized, at best.

started looking at the spoiler answers after level 50. recognizing letters I can do, playing 1d pictionary I stink at. still, it did steal my time and attention for 50 levels.

I can see the preloader, but then all I get is a blank black screen and that damn chat box. Same happens on other sites hosting the game. What am I missing?

Ow my eyes ache but I got through 100 with liberal use of the cheat sheet. With some of them, I could actually see the shape as an object sliding behind a slit, but for some reason that didn't work for most of 'em. And whether I could "see" it or I had to sketch it out on paper, they always came out a lot squattier than they should've. I have drawings of cute fat SPOILER and SPOILER on my doodle pad.

I love the way the "yay you're right" and "oh, too bad try again" tones are in key to the groovy happy trance music. Also, I suck at this game. I mean, I *nuclear* suck at this game.

Wait, doodle pad?

Spoilers??

Cheat sheets???

Curse you all, I'm going to look at lolcats.

Sweet, stuck on.. level 7. I suck at 1D. I was able to get the answers to letters almost instantly, but now that it's a "could be anything" stage, I seem to lack sufficient imagination to solve it.

How is it possible that the answer to NONE of these is "house on stilts"?
posted by katillathehun at 8:42 PM on September 21, 2008

Odd that the font for the answers doesn't match the characters being shown. I'm looking at you, level 17

What's frustrating is that it doesn't care about spaces until the last level.
