Christ, I was just describing this episode to my wife -- doesn't batman win the electorate vote over the Penguin's popular victory?

To be fair, John McCain predates this 60s-era Batman episode by at least 450 years.

Nah, the Penguin's confidence, fluency, and passion outshine McCain's blinky, stuttery, awkwardness. And Soporific Adam West was a lot more like Gore.

But the theme is definitely in the air lately.

The full episode is available here, here, and here, for those that crave context. Given recent experiences with Diebold and dysfunctional chains of custody, the final act doesn't seem nearly as preposterous as it did forty years ago.

Turgid Dahlia, if you google Google Ron Paul, you'll come to This as the first (real) link. Not tons of information there, but the gist is that:

1) Since the mainstream corporate-owned media is so shamefully excluding Ron Paul from coverage when he has such a Groundswell of support, which is because
2) The MSM doesn't believe in freedom, similarly to the "official" candidates, so Ron Paul's campaign must use new and exciting methods of communication [cf. Internet], and
3) The best way to get info about Ron Paul is to google him.

It's like viral marketing, sort of.

More importantly, why link to a blog post with nothing other than the YouTube video there? Total ebaumswordian

What I would like to know is how mainstream media becomes MSM. It's not main stream media, people. It's two words.

And on a similar note: fuck main street. You know who lives on main street? Assholes. Most folks live off the main drag for a reason. Side streets, motherfucker. What? What, son, what?

Nice to see the video I posted making the rounds. First and only success on youtube. Pointless videos of dogs rolling around in the snow not as popular as superheroes. Who knew?

When I posted it two years ago, I thought only of generic lying republicans dominating earnest wonky democrats. Never thought this would be a blow-by-blow prediction of the future.
