Those were incredibly beautiful. My current desktop is a black and white photograph that I've had up for the past couple of months, but I think that site just convinced me that I really ought to embrace color again.

Very nice. It will take me awhile to get to all of the websites.

This one struck me as particularly compelling. I'd love to have a print of it, or something to that effect.

Mildly NSFW, btw. Fix it PDQ ASAP.

Oooh what a feast of wows! I didn't realize at first that each credit given beside images is a link to the photographer's site. Talk about surfing. Nice post Brandon.

Makes me miss swimming and the Caribbean especially.

These ones are like sensual paintings. Beautiful.

Dustin Humphrey has whole sets underwater. Cool.

Adding to the underwater collection:
Alberich Mathews did some great underwater nudes a few years ago but he seems to have taken them off the web now. Only a few around, like these, this one.

Some way cool fish in Libor Spacek's Underwater Life option, which I like better than his Underwater Fine Art Nudes.

And I really like Todd Essick's sexy nudes with fish.

oh and that Eldad Hagar tiger underwater is such a cool pic.

It seems like most sea life photos are tropical; here's some underwater Alaska photography.

What? No Nudibranchs?

I love the sealife but the random models posed underwater are kind of jarring. Neat in their own right but not jellyfish neat.

I love the one with the goldfish in the birdcage. I just hope they didn't shoot that shot in a chlorinated pool....

What the fuck is up with all the jellyfish? Like they need more attention!

FUCK. THAT. SHIT.

And yeah, underwater pokemon?

I was wondering if Barbara Cole would be on this list. I did a creative with her a few years ago and she still has a few of the images on her site. Very talented lady...but my sinuses weren't very happy with me by the end of the shoot.

Better "creepy" link.

This FPP inspired me to post a question on AskMe, which was promptly answered; here's a really beautiful, haunting underwater photo (you have to scroll down a bit).

Howard Schatz works in this vein, and is most notable for using my niece as a model. Thanks to flash, I don't know how to link to her picture.

You gotta love the angry fish with mouth full of babies. (We keep a couple of jawfish specifically because they look so perpetually pissed off about life.)

Yeah, I first ran across this kind of work with Howard Schatz. I think I still prefer his underwater nudes to most of the ones on the linked page.

See also Pool Light.

He's still active on Flickr [NSFW underwater nudes]
