Early 90s Russian cultic ham brings back memories. Who could forget UA1ZCU, UA6XGL, RW3DP, UV3DCX, UA3DMC, UA6YHP, UV3ACQ, RA3AA, UA3AOC and UA3ANL. But of course it was all about 3W3RR and his activities XY, P5 and 5A

Romeo's trial is scheduled to begin in San Francisco on Monday, November 28, 2005.
(To be continued)

What happened? The page was lasted updated in 2005.

He must still be in the clink, he ratted on Golubov.

Nobody hears us when we’re alone in the blue future
No one receiving the radio’s splintered waves
In these metal ways
In these metal days.

This seems fascinating, but I've got no idea what's going on. The second link is the only one that's even vaguely penetrable to a non-ham, but I still don't understand why anyone would care about this stuff. Is there some sort of status attached to receiving broadcasts from hard to reach countries?

I thought this was going to be about some obscure bad actor in B-Movies.

I was pleasantly surprised.

I really like the QSL cards designs, especially the older Central and Eastern European ones. There's scans of thousands of them here, and a personal collection here.

As for Stepanenko, I take it pretending to be somewhere you're not is pretty much the worst thing a radio ham can do?

jack_mo, that site has the most rictus inducing set of dull convention photos I have ever seen.

Blimey, I hadn't seen those. Those radio hams sure have a wild time at their conventions.
