You know ... now that I think about it, I am not sure why I made the announcement on MeFi. I guess I am just really excited about the movie.

Urgh, makes me think of a parody of a SNL 'skit-characters-make-the-big-time' movie, just with explosions, 'fuck', and nudity. I hope it's actually better than that.

I love Kevin Smith movies and it has seemed obvious from the start that these two characters would get their own movie - haven't watched the trailer yet (no sound in work), but I can't wait to get home now....1hr 45m and counting :-)

Kevin Smith rocks. Dogma was great but Jay and SB just don't work as major characters. Jay might be ok but I got tired of seeing Silent Bob's (Kevin's) same expressions over and over again.

That said, I look forward to anything Kevin throws at us.

But... but... the Time! He got Morris Day and the Time! I love me some Kevin Smith.

This looks great! I've been a huge Kevin Smith fan since 'Clerks' and am sorry to see him retiring the View Askew cast members. Oh well, this movie will be a blast.

And I hope the rumors about Smith doing a Fletch movie with Jason Lee as the title character are true, Jason Lee is severely under-rated...

Chrish, I'm glad you posted the link here. Good good good! Rob's happy.

It looks like a "Kevin Smith's Greatest Hits" movie. It seems like every actor is from one of his earlier movies.

That being said, I still want to see it.

Side note: Rob would be much happier if the download didn't take this long.

This looks rocking. Jason Lee cannot possibly do enough movies.

Local mirror, if you can't get the 11Mb one quickly anywhere else.

I have to say, one of the weirdest movie experiences I've ever had was sitting in a theater in Red Bank, New Jersey, watching "Chasing Amy", and thinking, "okay, this scene was shot around the corner and upstairs...."; "this scene was around the corner and across the street, but damnit, the car's pointed the wrong way; that's a one way street!" I figured out later that if the female lead were a real person instead of a fictional construct, she would have been a classmate of my brother's. I'll be sorry to see the New Jersey stories end. I get a kick out of seeing the neighborhoods I grew up in (and occasionally people I know) on the silver screen.

Beauty! I tried every one of the offered mirrors and they all took an insanely long time to get to the Save File dialog.

The original site this trailer was posted (hidden) on was Movie Poop Shoot, an Ain't It Cool News parody set up by the View Askew folks. Be warned: some... interesting imagery on the front page.

Oh, brother. Silent Bob, your 15 minutes are up. Go back to your comic books!

Snootchie Boochies.

Finally - back to fun after the sanctimonious Dogma.
