Flash Friday! John Calhoun's classic mac game Glider Pro, now in flash form. [previously]

This web version, developed by Mark Arenz and John Calhoun, also lets you share the houses you make online.

If you're still hankering for old-school Glider Pro action on your Mac, you can download the old versions, alongside a smattering of houses.

Also, this is my first FPP, here's hoping it doesn't blow up or something...

Glider Pro is one of those things I've had bookmarked for a long time and never got around to. It's every bit as awesome as I had heard. Thanks hellojed!

Uhm, whenever I score points my score counter keeps on growing up to infinity. Kind of reduces the impact.

Oh dang, finding this is going to be a MAJOR time suck. I should be tired and go to bed but I have to play this some more. I hadn't thought of this game for decades, but as I started it, I still remember how to get through the opening rooms like some sort of crazy forgotten muscle memory.

And congrats on your first FPP -- I pray that one day I'll make one and it makes someone as happy as yours has made me!

(The muscle memory I mentioned was for the downloaded version -- which was exactly how I remembered it. The flash version, while fun thus far, didn't cause the same reaction but will still probably hook me.)

Wow, funny to see an ancient post of mine. Looking back, I could have written a better description.

The new Flash version is very good! ...I don't suppose they're working on an iPhone version? ;)

Um.

They didn't exactly test this, did they? Switches don't always work, the first star is out of reach, and the first outlet I came to, instead of alternating on and off, stays on and is impossible to pass. I spent probably millions of hours playing Glider Pro back in the day, and these problems seem pretty obvious to me. Which is bad.
