These exploration missions are really cool. I'm happily surprised that the oil companies are letting scientists use data from these dives.

You know my boss once told me that he had seen videos of cormorants diving at a depth of 1km during an ROV survey. That story was clearly bullshit, although the same company definately did have an awesome giant squid video, which I was told was donated to 'science'.
