You can watch a high definition version of the same video on Vimeo. The site the video came from, The Sky in Motion, is pretty damn sweet.

The music needed to be Vivaldi.

Great suggestion, zengargoyle. I was also thinking Aaron Copland ("Clarinet Concerto") or maybe Charles Ives "The Unanswered Question" would work too, on a different level. At least it didn't use music by Phillip Glass.

I happened to be listening to the first movement of John Adams's Shaker Loops while the video was playing and thought it matched pretty well. Here's an MP3 so that you can try it yourself.

I can't say I would recommend Ministry's Golden Dawn with it. The video is excellent though & I'll be showing my daughters who are supposed to be watching the night sky for a girl scout project later on. Thanks!
