The floorplan ones are cool as can be.

This is cooler than I expected. I am surprised that he hasn't messed around with aspect ratios.

Looks very much like the work of Grzeszykowska & Smaga. They did a show together called "Plan" a few years ago.

I always like this sort of POV. Maybe someday it will get old, like when realtors deploy a Romba like anti-gravity robot to photograph all their available properties. That would actually still be pretty great.

I hope it's not tacky of me to share a few paintings my wife Amy did a few years ago that use a similar point of view.

I actually like the Amy Bennett ones better because of the people/animals/etc. Also the imagining how you'd visualize that to paint it right.

I could add. The soft vignetting apparent in these (though they are stitched together well) brings to mind my favorite record cover ever.

This is really great.

Wow. I thought this was pretty cool until I read about the process of taking the photos. Very awesome! A simple idea, but it still surprised me. I'd like to try doing something like that, if I had any sort of photography skill, that is.

I really like those paintings as well, JBennett!
