uniCornify the Web! That's right. Unicorns and rainbows when you feel the web is icky or frustrating. Here's what Metafilter could look like. If you want you can add their java snippet to your browser bar and cornify anything!

Um, that's what Metafilter always looks like. What do you normally see?

This is pretty corny, alright.

And, somewhere in the world, Tim Berners-Lee smiles quietly to himself, leans back in his chair, pulls an old, dusty manilla folder from his desk drawer, and stamps the words "EXPERIMENT SUCCESSFUL" on it in bright red ink.

What's really useful about this: If you're on Little Green Footballs or Red State or anything else you find appalling, you can just click the button about a hundred times and block out the offensive matter quickly and painlessly.

This is useful. It almost covers the quivering mass of bugs I usually see pouring out of the screen.

flashboy - I think it's more of a collaboration with Tim and Lisa Frank, though the latter went a bit too far.

I see your Unicorns and raise you bacon!

I want to see how far someone can nest these website overlay things like Russian dolls. I want metafilter with unicorns, bacon, disasters, sketchzilla, translated into leet-speak, mirrored in reverse, etc.

Sadly, it does not work with the corporate intranet. That could use some rainbows.

I wonder if they built the site in Django.

Nevermind, it DOES work on the intranet, it just places the images under everything else, so you have to scroll down. Not nearly as fun. :(
