Maybe there was an issue with editing? These just didn't speak to me. Something was falling short.

A living body has a vibrancy that is absent from a cadaver. A cadaver is flat, cold & empty. I think taking lovely vibrant pastries and arranging them clinically like this has sucked the vibrancy out of them, too. I'm also reminded of the smell/taste of formaldehyde.

Agreed with gomichild -- an idea that might be intriguing with the right application, but there's not here that intrigues or inspires.
