SIGNS A very cute "simple short film about communication". (SLYT)
Honestly? I stopped watching as soon as it looked like it was just going to be another film about some isolated young man meeting his dream girl. Promising intro, though.

Not sure if this was directed at me or not, but yes, I found it cute, even though it was cliché. Not sure why I'd have any reason to lie about that.

The next day, the Internet was invented, putting an end to this bullshit once and for all. Stacey and Jason later got married, had a boring life, and spawned two mediocre children.

It wasn't directed at you, agress. Your comment wasn't there when I typed mine.

Guess the version where the bus creams them in the crosswalk at the end didn't play well with the test audiences.

This movie was totally unironic and honest in it's unpretentious execution. It obviously has no place on Metafilter.

Quadog is absolutely correct, and I liked it. Predictable, clichéd, sentimental? Feh. Sometimes it just feels good to have one's narrative comfort food well-prepared.

Ok that was very cute. For those of us who only watch films at the Short Attention Span Theatre, it was a bit long. Snacks consumed whilst viewing:
1/ Jesus, was the that worst suit ever?
2/ Seriously, he landed that chick? Based on what, his completely flat personality?
3/ Why didn't they just exchange mobile phone numbers and send text messages?
4/ Does everyone write in txt these days? SRSLY?
5/ Have I lost all sense of romance for wondering these things?

Snark aside; found it cute, if a bit cliché. But my current frame of mind makes me have a soft spot for that sort of thing.
