That's a lot of parallel universes.

"The Park Knight" looks like a potentially fascinating movie.

If they did that with the movie "W" they could eliminate the film altogether. But, hey, that would be an improvement.

I would really like to see this Gone with the Wind remake.

I want to see Wall.

Wow. "No Country for Old Hen", "Paws", "Wall", etc...
Ten hours spent painstakingly photoshopping a poster. Ten seconds spent thinking up the joke.

Don't bother. You'll wish you had those lost seconds back.

Actually, I love the post. I just couldn't resist.

OK, "Tray" made me laugh out loud. It shouldn't, but it did.

I always wanted to do this.

Due to slow loading time, I bailed before I saw them all. That said, I was disappointed to not have seen "Must Love Dongs" as the first entry.

Paw was my favorite. Night Club was a close second.

My favorite part of the rules: You may want to include the name of the original movie in your comments if you think voters will have trouble identifying it.

If you need to do that, haven't you pretty much failed already?

"Cone Collector" made me snort.

"Oldfinger"

"The Longest Lay"

"The Old Man and the Sex"

Hmm...for some reason, I'm channeling a spirit of geriatric porn...
posted by darkstar at 8:53 AM on March 11, 2009

These can pretty much come from the same script as porn-movie names, yes?
posted by rokusan at 9:09 AM on March 11, 2009

I consider myself an aficionado of puns, yet I grimaced at about half of the entries.

"It's a Wonderful Lime" "No Country for Old Hen" "Sweeney Toad" "Gone With the Wino"... worked for me.

"Shaving Private Ryan"... well, I guess you couldn't have had the competition without that one, but did we really need two versions of "Don't Mess With the Lohan"?

The humor is sort of along the lines of Wacky Packages.

Some good Photoshop, well, good enough, but needs better writers.

What? They're missing so many good possible titles:
"Sheepless in Seattle"
"Citizen Kang"
"The Big Sheep"
"Stag Wars"
"Finding Nero"

Did anyone notice that they put the beard on Hanks, and not Damon, on Shaving Private Ryan? FAIL!

Yeah, alright, so some of those were pretty bad, but a lot of the ones from moonmilk's link are making me giggle with abandon.

I am easily won over subtle clevernesses, big metal things made adorable, and general silliness.

"Ice Ale" isn't from a parallel universe at all. It exists here. Paleo Ale....

Did somebody do Codfather? Please tell me somebody did Codfather. You know, because if you do that, instead of Brando, you can just have a fish sitting there, in a tux. It's so easy. All the girls will want to sleep with you.

Agree that these really should be funnier.

We used to play this game with posters we had in our living room... the one that never failed to crack me up was Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom.
