Finding a bootleg of this show on Napster my sophomore year briefly made me very popular in certain circles. I still think this is the best version of Gardenhead. Makes for interesting little harmonic touches when you sing this version over the album version.

For what it's worth, this video is also available as the "enhanced content" on Orange Twin's release of this show, which appears to still be in print.

So you should buy it. Because it's good.

It's obviously awesome but the video doesn't add much to the recordings without visuals, IMO.

Huh, I used to study at that Jittery Joe's and didn't even know people played live music there. Then again, every establishment in Athens does so I should have known better.

"Up and on we go, this is the part of the song where I didn't write any lyrics, I will shout until they know what I mean."

It's worth it just for this.

Man, with Signal Morning finally announced (Circulatory System's long awaited second album) and now this, it is a fine time for Elephant 6. (Schneider's E6 guitar is pretty fucking sweet too).

Potential new Olivia's album?! Oh hell yeah! I mean, I'm sure it'll be some time in the making, but, shit, that is some wonderful news.

Also totally forgot that this is on the Orange Twin CD... I think it's a good time to go back to one evening in 1945.

Thanks for this.
