Interview highlights:
Allison and I, after 15 years, are actually separated, OK? We are kind of semi-separated, because she’s still living in the house, but we’re co-parenting. [Chuckling] I use this opportunity to make the announcement of the breakup of yet another lesbian couple....(Via)
I question, OK, long-term lesbian relationships in terms of whether the spark can really be kept going.... I think that, you know, gay men just have this attitude of “well, of course,” you know, romantic adventures, you know, and the odd fling. It’s sort of factored into it. It’s easier for men to do that. But I think with women it’s not so easy....
A fling for a lesbian couple is a betrayal.... It’s a betrayal of intimacy. Whereas the gay man, possibly because of the compartmentalization of male sexuality... it’s just a matter of... “the random and mischievous sex organ just doing its thing.” It doesn’t really go very deep.

Is this one of those things where some rich person has something happen to them, and then spouts a bunch of platitudes about how they're now so much wiser, and all the incredible lessons they have to teach us regular people?
Yes. Yes it is.

Where's the citing of her own work? The Madonna reference? The praise for Rush?
