Over the years I've never really paid attention to the reddit alien. So it's a good thing this guy did! (SLYT)

Foresight. Perhaps misapplied but foresight nonetheless.

I feel bad for that person having to visit Reddit so regularly for so long.

It's called "Every Day" by Carly Comando. It's the same music that was used in Noah Kalina's similar montage.

I say this as a piano player:

WHAT AN INCREDIBLY OBNOXIOUS SONG.

Sorry, Carly. It's really, really annoying. I've heard it maybe four times, and at this point it's so grating that I want to tear my ears off.

Only if it's wiggity-wiggity-wack.

That sort of thing (the tracking) (and the altering the alien to begin with) always strikes me as requiring a far greater degree of commitment to inanity than I'll ever possess. I applaud this, you understand, but still. It's a bit disconcerting to contemplate.

Alexis is remarkably consistent with how he draws the little guy, makes this come out really well.

Is there a difference between reddit and digg?

Hmm. I usually reserve that sentiment for Country Western.

I like the part with the drawing of the alien.

That was swell.

In my experience, it generally has a higher signal/noise ratio in the comments, more technical links (especially programming related), and a more pleasingly minimalistic layout than Digg.
