The video for ganguro is priceless. She's really great. And she keeps saying "please make sure you do it right or else you'll look stupid". Because, naturally, doing ganguro right doesn't look stupid at all! The emo and chola video's aren't quite so good, leaning too far on racial stereotype for my taste. (Of course ganguro is an extreme stereotype too, but blackface being recycled through Japan makes it so bizarre it seems harmless.)

I mean this without irony, glowpinkstah's a natural on camera, very fun and good at explaining things. Nicely edited for brevity, too. She reminds me a bit of Sunny Anderson from the Food Channel. Not so much the look, but her complete ease at being alone and her friendly, slightly self-deprecating clear explanations.

Heh. I watched "chola" first and mistakenly assumed that was a slight exaggeration of her real voice. I was pleasantly surprised to watch the others. She cracks me up. "That Dollar Store eyeliner is being a cunt."

I 'skimmed' (ie., first 30 seconds) of the fpp links and went meh. Came back, watched the 'whore' clip that amj linked to and was hooked.

She has a great sense of screw-you/fuck-me irreverent humour. Hope she gets found and gets a break.

I Love this girl so much.

One quibble: For the full and proper chola look, the natural eyebrows should be completely plucked out and new eyebrows drawn in about an inch higher up the forehead.
