The user who is tired of looking at space marines and space ships is tired of life.
Maybe the poor dear just needs to look at a few top-heavy women in chain-mail bikinis to clear his visual palette.
(No reason you can't have both, of course. Your average Baen cover has a hot chick in a bust-enhancing armored spacesuit doing something against a background of a spaceship exploding real good.)

i picked up a book on the concept art of godzilla once (still kicking myself for not buying it) ...there was a big spread from 'godzilla vs mothra'... the skies were fluorescent pink and mothra was shooting quite a large amount of lightning out of her eyeballs...different times, I guess...

Ugh. Total love/hate thing with concept art... mostly love, though. I went through a period of collecting production game concept art, but it was so close to impossible to actually get anything that I quit in absolute despair. Having said that, you will get my System Shock and Undying pieces only by pulling them out of my cold, dead hands.
