Oh, dear. Now that shouldn't be.

How did the people who made this escape without dying of well-deserved monkey bites?

"I'm a baaaaaad boy"

Writers take note, THAT is how you establish CHARACTER.

Yes, of course a monkey cowboy would ride a dog instead of a horse. That makes sense.

Feel free to stop watching shortly after that though, there isn't much there in the following 9 minutes.

i like that this was done in the 40's. none of that silly cg nonsense. i bet they had to draw those mouths frame by frame, which certainly beats the chewing food method they used for lancelot link

It is monkeys like the Lonesome Stranger who helped build the housing bubble.

Dum diddy dum diddy dum diddy dum Banana!

We chased lady luck, 'til we finally struck Banana.
With a gun and a rope and a hat full of hope, planted a family tree. We got hold of a pot of gold, Banana.
With a horse and a saddle, and a range full of cattle, how rich can a fellow be?

Those look like the most bored monkeys ever. Or the most sedated.

(However, that one part at 1:00 is truly awesome.)

I'm not sure I want to admit that it took watching a Monkey Western to learn that all my life I've been incorrectly pronouncing skulduggery. Luckily I think I've only said it out loud... ah... maybe twice. Or possibly never.

Wait, I don't understand.

The Orphan can't pay her mortgage, so she's going to get kicked out. So the first thing the hero does is go down to the bank and try to instigate a fight with the lender. But he doesn't want to get suckered into a fight, so the hero just flat-out attacks him. And the announcer even says, "Well, that didn't really accomplish anything 'cause the Orphan still owes the mortgage..."

The lone stranger is a fucking vigilante asshole. And also a monkey.
