The illustrations section is interesting, although there are only a couple of pages there so far. Looks like a good use of digital media and the Internet, though.

Once again no one is interested in my vast digital archives of Northern Uzbekistan. *sigh*

brain_drain: ""our" pages?"

It's lifted directly from the site's description of itself; it doesn't seem like it refers to yegga.

I find an Eastern/Western axis much more demonstrative for these purposes, for reasons that I should think would be obvious to even the most casual observer. Schemes like this add nothing to the greater dialog and only further muddy the already murky waters of Uzbekalia. People like you really cheese me off.

As a Borat fan, I have to say it; fuck Uzbekistan.

Kitabuz ... :) ... great name choice, since the Arabic K*T*B is the root for "book", "library" and other related concepts ... nice find. Thanks!

I see two ways to sift through junk: 'search' and 'slice'. When applied to the internet, search engines are the former, and Mefi the latter. Sometimes I post things only to see who comments, who favorites, who brings what to a thread, who slices what and how.
