Okay, plain and simple, that's one of the most amazing pieces of footage I have ever seen. If it was done in a movie, I wouldn't have believed it. I mean, actually reaching out, grabbing the shirt and then rolling over the bridge wall and hanging on with one hand? That would seem too scripted in a movie. Damn!
The best part of watching the video was how, well, normal this cop was. No bravado, just gosh-shucks humility.
He deserves his 15 minutes of fame for that.

And if any of the pharmacutical companies saw that tape, here is a guy to promote your muscle-rub creams for ya.

It sounded like an interview with the star quarterback of a high school football team. "Way to go, buddy...hey, yeah, guy! Awesome job! Free doughnuts, WOO! Sandimashighschoolfootball RULZ!"

Great footage, I just can't believe the anchor 'went there' with the doughnut comment.

i agree. great footage, incredible really, and a nice cop just doing his thing. i can't believe the donut comment, that's just plain rude. plus i'm sure the guy already gets free donuts, don't most cops?
