Wouldn't You Like to Be a Member of the Rebel Alliance? So I'm listening to some radio news show and am amazed to learn that Canada has a Rebel Alliance party. Who wants to be Republican or Democrat when you can be a member of the Rebel Alliance? I'd move to Canada if it wasn't ... you know Canada (joke).

Yes but are the rebels treated like scum in Canada?

Being a night worker, I've always been anti-day, so I hope those shadows pull out a big can of whup-ass!

Don't join the Rebel Alliance. If you do, Darth Vader will come looking for you and the Princess because you'll be "part of a rebel alliance and a traitor" and all you'll be able to do is sit around going "Help me, Obi·wan Kanobi. You're my only hope."

Is the Rebel Alliance Party inany way tied to the Jedi religious cult in New Zealand? How does Canada feel about the separation of church and state?

Reading the article, I got the impression that the party was called the Alliance (or Canadian Alliance) Party and rebel was simply an adjective to describe some of the Alliance MPs.
Not that it wouldn't be cool to have a rebel alliance party...

Darnit, jnthnjng, you had to go spoil the whole thing with reality, now didn't you? This is, of course, the notorious Alliance Party headed by the odious Stockwell Day, and not some rag-tag band of rebels out to destroy the Emperor Palpatine.

Don't you mean Emperor Chretien, briank?

Starchile, you mean the Premier of Quebec isn't Jean Poutine?

The only Rebel Alliance I want to join is the Weezer Rebel Alliance. Heh heh.
