Who's your daddy?

Who's your daddy? A pony in Penrith, England, gives birth to a half-zebra foal. The owners of the pony didn't even know she was pregnant. Sounds like a story off Jerry Springer. "No really, I was never with the zebra!" We'll see what the paternity test shows....
kinda surprised the foal would not have been stillborn. it probably won't be able to copulate anyhow.
everyone knows mules are the products of horses and donkeys, right?

It will be able to copulate (have sex), but it will be sterile. Rough life.

I think "Zebroni" is pretty catchy, too.

oh yah, sorry some chick, i wasn't thinking quite straight. of course they may be able to have sex, but you're right the likelihood is in fact that they'd be sterile.

The correct term for this is a "zorse". More Zorse source: you can buy one in California. Apparently they are sterile hybrids and cannot reproduce.

Wow. thanks for the link dhartung. Now I have to try to get the image of that woman "collecting [Cyclone's] semen" out of my head.

I think Zobra the Zorse is a perfect name for this delightful looking creature. How funny. Makes you wonder, though, why the owners of the wild animal farm that Tilly came from never thought twice about leaving a female pony and male zebra in the same pasture.

For more cross-breed fun, you can also search for zeedonks.

I picked a dotty old British lady hitchhiking in Nairobi, who told me tales of colonial days. She wept bitter tears over independence because it meant she had to give up her zebroids.

Humans have an amazing capacity to cross-breed anything that remotely resembles anything else... forget the Liger, I'm waiting for the tiger-housecat crossbreed!

Isn't the Shebra the counterpart to the Bro? (Manssiere?)
