Well, he really wasn't captured. He was extradited. According to the article, "Milosevic, 59, has been in jail since April."

It's still big news.....

To be honest - I've actually never been to memepool.

I know. I was going for form over accuracy. "Captured" seems to go with freedom and death better than "extradited". Hey, could have written "Preside over genocide, go to jail!"

I really just wanted to note that this seems to be a three "holy fucking shit" news day & wondered if anyone else could remember any other multiple "omigosh" surprise/big news event days?

This barely qualifies...but I seem to recall a verdict in the OJ Simpson civil trial being broadcast during a State of the Union address by President Clinton...several of the networks nearly suffered whiplash, trying to cover both events.
