Stripper, Reinstated. -- The stripper who posed for Playboy and went on national TV after she was kicked off the Cal State Fullerton cross-country team has been offered the chance to wear a Titan uniform once again.

Amazing - for once, people were forced to be reasonable about naked women. By a lawyer, no less!

I love the part about the baseball players showing up at her nudie juice bar in uniform. They must not be a very good team if they can wear their uniforms after a game without offending the populace.

One question: If she hasn't appeared in Playboy yet, what are these pictures from? [Warning: full frontal and dorsal nudity]

i heard she is going to M.I.T. I heard she was doing porn. I heard she was raising kittens. i heard she was going to be a state trooper. i heard she wants to be a poet. i heard she has a new look on life following her court battle. I hear such great things.

Colleges routinely hand out cash and other assistance to athletes who wouldn't otherwise want (or be mentally able) to attend college (perhaps including this stripper, though I don't know), but Cal State Fullerton kicked a young woman off their track team because she stripped for tuition? The moral problem lies not with the stripper, who at least was straightforward about the buying and selling of young bodies.

[By the way, this Leilani Rios turns out to be quite a googly gal. Sex + sports + girl fights big guys and wins = money for everyone involved. Rios, Playboy, Sports Illustrated, Wanker's Weekly, Naked Runner Review, Hot Hurdling Honeys, etc. And I heard she's seeing clavdivs.]

rcade: "If she hasn't appeared in Playboy yet, what are these pictures from?"

The banner ad on the Playboy feature on Rios seems to indicate that the photos were from the Playboy Cyber Club. The Playboy article was the second link on the Google Search linked by pracowity above.

BTW, shouldn't there be a "via FARK" notice on these posts?

Actually CSF has one of the most successful college baseball programs around and has even won a few national championships recently.

And without ever sliding into base. Go team! Yes, really, go team -- straight to the strip club where some bureaucratic nitwit can get his boxers in a bunch and invoke a kneejerk double standard against another student. You've worked hard, you deserve it.

Was the Girl, Interrupted thing too much of a stretch?
