A printable foldable playable toy a day.

A printable, foldable, playable, toy a day. PDFs of little figures to print out and fold. Part of the joy is how they're all shaped the same. Among my favorites: all of KISS, Mr. Natural, Gorbachev, Darth Vader, and yesterday's reversible Superman/Clark Kent. There is also a template so you can make your own.

Shouldn't Mr. Natural be au natural?

I thought the little Stormtrooper was cute.
And Steve Jobs looks particularly curmudgeonly.

Well, that takes care of Christmas for the coworkers...add a little box of candy and I'm done. Thanks OmieWise!

In the daytime I'm Mr. Natural, just as healthy as I can be, but at night I'm a junk food junkie! Good Lord, have pity on me!

Not necessarily, in a lot of his appearances he's wearing that yellow all-purpose robe/poncho and the big clodhopper shoes. Although that would be a fun variant.

Me, I'm a big fan of the Madman toy, and Charles Bronson and Yao Ming made me giggle, too.

This is actually a pretty nice antidote to the overpriced, elitist urban vinyl figure trend, and the fact that they've got DIY templates and contests really invites people to flex their creativity.

(not too many female characters... If I had any talent I'd grab that template and get to work on Annie Oakley et al)

Oh - a few years ago I also found some very sweet printables at The Toymaker.

Sweet! I'm going to hang KISS from our Christmas tree.

Ah, thanks nimsey lou, I was going to recommend Cubee Craft as a much better example of this sort of thing, but I couldn't find the link in my bookmarks or remember what the name was.

And now I don't have to.
