Family Guy was one of my favorite shows, and it has been the kicked around step-child of Fox for so long, much like Futurama has been as well. But its good to see it coming back. (Of course Fox will probably yank it again, knowing them.)

i remember once when the baby mentioned his email address on the show (it's loismustdie@yahoo.com if i remember right), i had emailed him some silliness and he had actually responded. i think i liked the show a lot more because of that... and when fox was trying to get rid of the show, he emailed me, and others i guess who had been in contact with him, telling us how to sabotage their plans, all in character.. very fun stuff.

I'm a big Family Guy fan, but I wish we could also get back God, the Devil and Bob (exterminated by right wing religious zealots in Idaho and Utah), The Oblongs (killed by poor ratings running against the grossly inferior Malcolm in the Middle) and Dr. Katz - Professional Therapist reruns on Comedy Central (killed off because it doesn't have a fart or boob joke every ninety seconds, like South Park or The Man Show).

In the fall on thursdays it will be Family Guy and The Tick live action series back to back...everyone better watch so Fox doesn't even think about cancelling what will prove to be the funniest night on tv...otherwise we'll be staying up till 1 or 2 in the morning on Sunday nights to watch these programs on Comedy central...at least we have Morpheus to download the episodes and not be at the mercy of TV executives

ohh, this is such good news. I've been hooked since the first post-Super Bowl episode. . .

Judge : "Mr. Griffin, I think your words have touched us all. I’m sentencing you to twenty-four months in prison!" [hits the gavel]
Lois : "Oh no!"
Brain : "Oh no!"
Chris : "Oh no!"
Meg : "Oh no!"

Kool Aid Man : [crashing through the side of the courthouse] "Oh yeah!"

Everyone looks at Kool Aid man and he slowly backs away through the hole he made.

Bring back Strangers With Candy, and balance will be restored to the universe.

U! C! B!
U! C! B!
U! C! B!

I'm done now.

No, I'm not. Upright Citizens Brigade was the best sketch show on TV, and it deserves another chance.

Stewie bears a startling resemblance to Jimmy Corrigan, The Smartest Kid on Earth. Coincidence?

Great news! That was always my favorite FOX cartoon. Oh yeah, and I wish Cartoon Network would give up one or two of the 50 time slots taken up by Scooby Doo to bring back Space Ghost and/or Cartoon Planet. Even if they aren't going to make any new episodes, at least move the reruns out of whatever ungodly hour they show them in now.

Actually, Space Ghost is coming back to Cartoon Network in September, along with a bunch of other shows in something they are calling Adult Swim.

A tiny bit off-topic...but does anyone feel that Ren & Stimpy first season was near perfection, and once John K. left it became a trash-hole...?

I'm still patiently waiting for "The State" to come back on with Barry, Levon and their $240 worth of pudding...

I thought John K. was fired after that one episode with the Necks Were Made for Hangin' number.

Two hundred and forty dollars.....worth of pudding. oh yeah.

I want to dip my balls in it! The State's bit about the last supper was, in my humble opinion, the funniest sketch ever. The return of The Family Guy is great news though - I was hooked after seeing the episode with death trying to lose his virginity.

I'm with dr. zoidberg on Family Guy and The Oblongs. Though Family Guy was not as good the last few episodes, I'd thought. But I'll gladly give them another chance. Stewie and Milo rule!

I loved the JFK pez dispenser joke. Oblongs was funny too, but I don't think it will be back.

UCB had the effect of a joke gone on too long for me, much better when they appear on Conan.

UCB:
You're touching my ass pennies!

Family guys is hilarious.

Can we all agree that Titus sucks, though.

Titus makes me compulsively wash.

Like UCB, go check out the theatre.

Titus is thoroughly unwatchable.

I never saw UCB.

Family Guy is, by turns, hilarious, horrendous, and offensive. Which I heartily endorse with both thumbs.

But what I really miss is Mr. Show.
