That was both hilarious and touching, a rare combination.

I did not want to like it, but I was riveted and it wound up leaving me breathless. Thanks.

Lovely. Anyone know who funded it?

...and coming back after watching the Making Of link to say holy shit, that's incredible. What a ridiculous amount of talent and artistry.

I love this. I think about just this a lot. You and a pretty girl smile at each other and walk away, never seeing the other again, but (I hope I'm not the only one) imagining what probably could never have been. Theres nothing but possibility... every fleeting eye contact could have been with the love of your life, or taken you on a detective novel style goose chase.

At least I'm not the only one falling in love ten times a day.

What a weak ending. I was waiting for them to smash through each other's face.

So anyone else put in mind of the plot device of Pattern Recognition? Fragments of a beautiful, fascinating B&W 40s-ish film keep popping up online, leading obsessives to try to piece them together and explain them?

I especially liked the score. Thanks.

What a weak ending. I was waiting for them to smash through each other's face.

I think they're saving that for the sequel, Matin Noir: The Morning After.

Ah, cheap digital slowmo. It seems new and fresh because the technology didn't even exist a few years ago. But. I don't think it will stay fresh for long. The video-in-2010 equivalent of a lens flair.

(er, okay this was CG not actual video slomo. Same deal, though)
