A depressingly large amount of those links are grayed out. I think I need to go for a walk in the outside world.

Randomly enough, however, the All Your Base Are Belong to Us phenomenon is how I became aware of MetaFilter.

I'd call it less "post ironic misogyny" and more "parody of the misogyny in rap." Especially considering that Jon Lajoie's main shtick is making fun of rap tropes.

"02) Two Girls One Cup (cannot legally be reposted in the US)"

Why is this? Is poop eating a felony in the US?

Apparently so. I hear that in some jurisdictions it's illegal to be handcuffed while wearing a clown suit.

I didn't realize at first that it's all the same guy. Googling turns up more. He mostly seems like a standard issue troll, but every once in a while he's just bizarre.

More on the Hawaii Chair (#67 on list 1): Ellen tries it (twice); G4TV uses it for an entire episode, including a videogame competition.

I'd seen most of the first list, but the second one seemed considerably more eclectic.

Also, "We Got That B-Roll" is essential Internet fare, in my opinion.

Do you love internet memes but HATE having to search for them all separately or even worse have them clog up your bookmarks?!

Do you wish there was one website that would have all them, together, in one easy to use list on a simple palette of black text on a white background?

Have you, in the year 2010, not even seen the grape stomping video??

WELL YOU'RE IN LUCK! That's right we've got two - count 'em two! - websites that catalog all your favorite internet memes!!!!1111

From the horrific (yet hilarious) wailing of a woman struggling to breathe as her coworkers laugh on, to the stultifying cuteness of a hamster struggling to eat popcorn - You Should Have Seen This.com has it all!

And coming soon, You Should Have Seen This Animated Gif From 1997.com! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll appreciate the novelty for two seconds then refresh Metafilter compulsively until something more interesting comes along!

I saw swap.avi [NSFW, made for hire for the Something Awful goons] long before 2girls1cup became a global phenomenon. I wasn't nauseated, just disturbed that you can get three Brazilian girls in a custom-made poop-eating movie for only five hundred dollars.

Arrrrgggghhh. In my opinion, I spend far too much time on the internet-- the internet has cut into my book reading time, my movie viewing time, my craft time, my gardening time, and so on AND it's been 12 years of time wasting yet I haven't seen all that many of the links, so I started at the top and worked my way down til I got to 6: Charlie the Unicorn. Fucking tedious and a good reminder why I don't bother with most of the links "making the rounds."

well my reaction was WTF who thought it was a good idea to have people standing knee-deep in an agility-confining tub full of slippery fruit mash up on a six-foot high platform?

I felt so bad for the bride in the first list when the poor best man stepped forward and WHAM! into the pool (hot tub?) she went, in what you just know is a ridiculously expensive gown.

Some of the others were just tedious.

(But all the Maru and kitty videos make me happy and make up for the meh.)

see, that's what I get for watching with the sound off. but my little inner underwriter keeps screaming, "that's still fucking dumb!" why couldn't they have just poured the mash through a screen into a measuring cup afterward? I know, I know - because it's not good teevee.
